Butt to measure

We make all sort of forends and butts to measure. To help you to focus our activity we have made a list of the different steps you have to respect to carry out an order :

• choose the wood kind for the butt and the forend
• fitting mechanical parts
• size up the butt (bend, cast off, cast on, length)
• stocking of the different mechanical parts
• fitting and integration of the machinery (closure, safety and hammers)
• wood work
• amending of the existent butt
• shape the butt and forend
• linseed oil polish (mat finish) or cloth (satin finish)
